STREET SMART PUP
LEASH TRAINING FOR dogs 16 WKS & UP
Taking your dog for walks provides healthy physical exercise for your pup, and quality time that you both enjoy together on the daily. While walking your pup can be fun and rewarding, it takes consistent work to train a pup to have proper leash manners and help put ease on your walking experiences.
In our two-part Street Smart Pup Course, you will learn to use positive reinforcement to train your pup to:
✢ Stop Pulling & not leap into traffic
✢ Be Calm when greeting others & not jump
✢ Learn to Leave things alone off the ground
Requirements
✢ Must be at least 16 weeks old
✢ Must be in the care of a veterinarian and be on current age appropriate vaccinations
✢ Must NOT have leash reactivity or aggression towards other dogs and people
✢ Must be socialized with dogs and people, not fearful
✢ Must have some foundational behavior training: Name recognition, Sit, Down & Stay

Course Description
✢ Two 50 min Sessions - Course Total: $160
✢ Saturdays: 11:30 AM - 12:20 PM
✢ Up to two people are allowed per dog
TRAINING DAY ONE
✢ Loose Leash training using a Clicker and how to stop your dog from charging
✢ How to stop your dog from being an eager greeter
✢ Instruction will begin indoors, the majority of class will take place outdoors
TRAINING DAY TWO
✢ How to train your dog to "Leave It"
✢ How to get your dog's attention towards you with different training games
✢ Instruction will begin indoors, the majority of class will take place outdoors
